Axe Throwing Gender Reveal

I recently organized our gender reveal party and we did a few fun DIY’s including a unique way to find out the gender! See below!

We wanted to come up with a unique way to find out the gender. Axe throwing is something we love to do when we go camping so Levi made an axe throwing target for our gender reveal which was lots of fun. He made the axe board out of pine wood because it’s softer than most wood which makes it easier to get the axe to stick. He nailed the pine wood to a sheet of plywood. I had my friend Carlie get the black balloon and filled it with pink powder and then nailed it to the bulls eye of the board. I had Levi throw the axe because during practice I kept missing and plus he is good at axe throwing:-). He threw the axe and I, along with 6 others popped pink powder poppers. It was amazing! Finding out we were having a girl made us feel so overjoyed!

I bought all the pink and blue decorations from amazon including the baby blocks which was all affordable and easy to put together.

Some gender reveal party ideas to make it fun was I made pink and blue flower clips for guests to wear of the color of the gender they thought we were having. I got baby name suggestion cards for our guest which was lots of fun to read after the party. There were some great baby name suggestions. I also made pink and blue cupcakes along with putting out pink and blue candy and straws for the drinks to make it fun. The gender reveal part was a success!
